Open since July, OndiJo Asian Fusion Family Restaurant is a mash-up of tastes and styles.
The Filipino/Japanese casual-dining restaurant offers quick food with flair...
The restaurant's name is also a mash-up, this time of the cousin's nicknames -- John D for Sacman and JoJo for Lomibao.
The fusion can be seen in dishes like the teriyaki cheesesteak sandwich, which blends Japanese and American favorites. Sacman said the teriyaki sauce is made fresh in house.
The restaurant is situated behind the Taqueria San Jose on Coffee Road in a new shopping center set off the road. The inside is clean and bright, with small Asian touches like bamboo plants on the tables.
"We offer quick food on the go for people," Sacman said. "People like that it is fresh and some of the flavors are different than what they have had before."

Signature Filipino items on the menu include On 'd' Roll (lumpia), Chicken Adobo, and Saturday's Pancit Special.
